Join Social Enterprise Network Victoria
We’re pleased to share some important updates to our membership framework, designed to make it simpler, more flexible, and more accessible for social enterprises and those supporting the sector.
People and Planet First (PPF) verification is now opt-in rather than a requirement for social enterprise membership. While members may still choose to pursue PPF verification, it is no longer mandatory to join. Our membership fees are based on a tiered structure that reflects the size and diversity of our community. All individual memberships are flat fee.
We have introduced a new structure with four membership types:
Established Social Enterprise
Organisations that fully meet criteria informed by the 5 global standards and demonstrate financial sustainability.
Emerging Social Enterprise
Organisations in transition toward full social enterprise status (as detailed under ‘Established Social Enterprise‘).
Associate
Individuals or organisations supporting the social enterprise ecosystem, including (but not limited to) universities, councils, consultants, individual supporters, etc.
Youth
Young people (under 21) interested in engaging with or contributing to the social enterprise sector.
Pricing
Our membership fees are based on a tiered structure that reflects the size and diversity of our community. All individual memberships are flat fee.
Applying as an Individual:

Applying as an Organisation (Established Social Enterprise, Emerging Social Enterprise and Associate):
| Level 1 < $1M in annual turnover | Level 2 $1M – $5M in annual turnover | Level 3 > $5M in annual turnover |
| $100 /yr | $250 /yr | $750 /yr |
Applicants should select the level that best reflects their most recent turnover, noting that supporting information may be requested to verify eligibility.
To support new members amid the current pressures in the social enterprise sector, we are offering a 25% discount on the first year of membership. This offer is valid until 11:59 PM on 31 May, 2026.
