Give Where you Live
Meg Price is the Head of GROW, with the Give Where You Live Foundation. Meg is passionate about tackling complex social issues to create positive change and has 16 years’ experience in the social sector, in senior leadership positions across Federal and Victorian Government Agencies and the Not-for-Profit (NFP) sector along with three years’ experience serving on NFP Boards.
The Give Where You Live Foundation has a vision of being recognised as one of the most progressive foundations in Australia and works as an agent of social change to build a fairer G21 community. The Foundation helped develop and now delivers the GROW Initiative. This initiative uses a regional compact whereby signatories commit to using social procurement and inclusive employment practices to address areas of entrenched disadvantage and provide opportunities to long-term job-seekers. GROW is now a major piece of the Victorian Government’s social infrastructure and is being delivered across the state.
The GROW Network is made up of Victorian businesses, government and community organisations in the G21 Region and across Bendigo, Ballarat, Shepparton and Gippsland. The GROW Network works together to create regional pathways to employment and more job opportunities for people with barriers to work, particularly people experiencing long-term unemployment, along with supporting equity and a stronger regional economy through social procurement.
