LACHLANN CARTER, Co-Founder and former CEO, 100 Story Building

Lachlann Carter is cofounder and former CEO of 100 Story Building, a social enterprise providing creative learning opportunities for children and young people in Melbourne. Since opening doors in 2013, 100 Story Building has had over 40,000 program participants, supporting their literacy skills development, confidence and sense of belonging.

Having stepped down from his role at 100 Story Building after 10 years, with the organisation poised for significant growth in scale of impact, Lachlann has since taken up a role with Foundation for Young Australians (FYA) as Director, Fundraising & Partnership, supporting access to resources for youth-led initiatives.

Prior to cofounding 100 Story Building, Lachlann worked as a primary school teacher, and has served in a number of advisory and committee roles focused on youth empowerment and agency.
