ISHANI CHATTOPADHYAY, (She/Her)

Ishani joins SENVIC with a deep, life-long passion in social enterprise. She has extensive international and local social enterprise development experience. Ishani is the Founder and Managing Director of Arctic 90, a boutique advisory that helps impact driven enterprises with strategic execution. She grew up in India and Melbourne with a 24+ year career across India, Australia, USA and the UK focused on strategic advisory, entrepreneurship, market expansion, investment and innovation.
Ishani has run several incubation and acceleration programs and mentored many social enterprises, SMEs and businesses on their strategy and operations.
Ishani started her career in Management consulting with Accenture in Australia and then the USA. Post her MBA, Ishani took her professor’s start-up (carbon advisory and trading business) from the UK to India and set up the operations in Mumbai and subsequently participated in the company’s IPO on the LSE. Ishani then went on to run the Climate change and Technology division with regional leadership of India and Middle east for a Fortune 500 Power company and subsequently established her own business focused on social impact, climate change and sustainability in 2009-10.
Ishani is a Chemical Engineering and Science graduate (BSc/BE) from the University of Melbourne, Australia and holds an MBA degree with a major in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from the London Business School, UK. She was also a Chazen Fellow (MBA exchange program) at Columbia Business School, New York for her MBA degree. She has been on several Boards and holds advisory roles with multiple impact driven companies.
