REGEN GIPPSLAND
You are warmly invited to join the The Gippsland Social Enterprise Collective for an evening of imagining – and planning – for a regenerative Gippsland. The evening will be delivered in partnership with WWF Australia, Regen Studios, and The Australian Centre for Social Innovation on the lands of Brayakuloong clan of the Kurnai people, in West Gippsland.
As an alliance of individuals and organisations who are committing their skills, resources, and aspirations to reinventing our fabulous region, we invite you to join us on a journey to co-create a vision for a regenerative future for Gippsland.
Regeneration rising
We all know about incredible creative, entrepreneurial, environmentally vital work popping up all over Gippsland – and it’s on the rise.
How might we build a community platform where everyone, no matter their background or experience, can come together, listen, and become activators in our local ecosystems, communities and organisations?
That’s what this evening is about; coming together, connecting and imagining a regenerative Gippsland.
Our program
To spark inspiration, the evening will feature a screening of Regenerating Australia, a 17-minute documentary created by Regen Studios in partnership with WWF-Australia, with major philanthropic support from Shark Island Foundation.
The film is based on a four-month listening campaign, with a diverse group of Australians who shared their hopes and dreams for the country’s future. It is a new story for our nation: a story of empowerment. A story of solutions. A story of regeneration.
The screening will be followed by discussion and light supper. Connect with one another, to your local place and spark ideas for the work ahead – drawing on the film, and each other, for inspiration.

A little more about about the Gippsland Social Enterprise Collective
The Gippsland Social Enterprise Collective (GSEC) was established in early 2020 as a response to the Social Enterprise Network Victoria (SENVIC) initiative to support the establishment of a regional network to build a connected community of social enterprises, to facilitate access to learning and development opportunities, and to give practitioners an independent and collective voice.
